How to compare two cities without fooling yourself
City comparisons become misleading when one city has strong evidence and the other has gaps. Placeivo therefore compares only indicators that both locations can support.
Compare like with like
Population, climate, air quality and elevation describe different dimensions of city life. They should not be collapsed into one universal score unless the weighting method is explicit. When comparing two cities, look at the shared metrics first and then examine categories that are missing for either side.
Do not confuse coverage with quality of life
A city with 100% overview coverage is not automatically a better place to live. It simply has better data coverage for the indicators in that profile. Your own priorities still determine which evidence matters.
